Celebrating Dr. Seuss week is an annual event for the students at St. Labre.  Reading is an important aspect of the curriculum and Dr. Seuss books provide entertainment for the elementary students and staff alike.  This year the celebration was extra special for the St. Labre PreK-4th grade students who had a surprise visit from the Cat In The Hat.  The kids were extremely excited to have a real life “celebrity” visit their school!  The Cat enjoyed spending time with the students and he read them his favorite Dr. Seuss book; The Cat In The Hat.  He was very impressed with all of the amazing Dr. Seuss Week decorations in the K-4 building.
