During the long hot summer days, St. Labre Indian School offers swimming lessons to the local community members. Sponsored by the American Red Cross, all age groups are certified after the lessons are complete. The lifeguards, many of whom are St. Labre high school students, go through training to be aides and learn the progression of each of the 6 swimming strokes. On average, there are around 30 children in each session. We welcome anyone to join us.
