Summer school is in full swing at St. Labre! Students are having fun learning the differences between crocodiles and alligators. They have read books, looked at pictures, and their teachers have had exciting activities all about how these animals are similar but yet different. The children wrote very entertaining stories with illustrations, crafted their very own alligator out of clothes pins, and colored masks that they wore to fulfill their desire to be an alligator.
Of course, it is summer, so there are fun activities like bingo – works with letter and number recognition – and making and eating homemade ice cream – tasty science.
