today's dreamers to be
tomorrow's do-ers.
St. Labre’s classrooms are full of future teachers, veterinarians and artists who deserve the same opportunities as other students. Our students envision a future where they can live Proud, Prosperous and Free. Sharing the skills and tools needed to build that future is the mission of St. Labre.

While the question comes up at most schools, the answers haven’t been so simple for Native American children. Poverty has impacted far too many children’s dreams, limiting opportunity for generations.
At St. Labre, every student’s dream matters — and each child receives a tuition-free education that embraces their Northern Cheyenne and Crow cultures and traditions. We are focused not only on preparing our students for what they want to be when they grow up, but also on who they are right now. In addition to robust academics and career-focused vocational programs, children are taught critical thinking and necessary life skills.
“Growing up,” however, requires more than a quality education. Focused as we are on our students’ future, they won’t have one if we don’t get the present right. From nutritious meals to emotional and mental health support, St. Labre meets our students’ immediate and often most basic needs.
