Recently our student-run business, Braves Ink, received 3rd place honors at the Montana Teenpreneur Roundup in Bozeman, MT. Braves Ink is run by students in grades 11 and 12, who custom design and print t-shirts. Mr. Jones finally found his calling at St. Labre Indian School five years ago, when he returned with his wife to her ancestral homeland, the Northern Cheyenne Reservation. The circumstances of the journey were tragic. Their ten-year-old-daughter had been diagnosed with a brain tumor and died five months later while they were living in Minnesota. [...]

After celebrating Christmas and ringing in the new year with friends and family, the boys and girls at St. Labre are back to school and ready to learn.
The annual John Carrol Pow Wow is this weekend at John Carroll School in Bel Air, MD. This year, proceeds will benefit St. Labre. Stop by and enjoy Native American music, dancing, food, art, and crafts. Click here for details
Christmas is just around the corner and what better way to start the school decorating than trimming our trees with the ornaments that donors sent to the boys and girls! Our Native American students enjoyed reading your messages of support and love as they decorated their Christmas tree.
Recently the St. Labre Cross Country team headed out for State competition. These long-distance runners received a blessing from a tribal elder before boarding the bus and heading out for their final run of the year.
The St. Labre Lady Braves volleyball team was treated to an extra special send-off by the K-4 school as the team heads to the District Tournament. The K-4 staff decorated the hallway for the occasion, and as the players walked through the elementary school, the students gave each team member a good luck high-five.
