Students Visit Plains Indian Museum to Discover Heritage and History
Twice a year, a group of students from St. Labre travel to Cody, Wyoming to
visit the museums at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. This time the students
explored the Plains Indian Museum to study the history of their native cultures.
Museum curators always enjoy watching the students as they realize and relate to
strong traditions as they see new artifacts and exhibits.

The Elementary Student Council and 4th grade classes decided this year they would run a spring Cinco de Mayo carnival. The council and students made posters, set up booths, organized prizes, and planned games which overall made for a great event. Highlights included throwing water balloons at teachers, Wii bowling, and face painting. We hope there is another carnival next year!
